• We cross reference materials received to bill of lading, verify all materials and notify client of any discrepancies.
• Carton count verified to bill of lading/packing slips.
• Cartons are spot checked for damage and to ensure marking labels accurately reflect contents and quantity. This is included in the standard service. Other optional inspections (i.e., piece count) are available upon client request.
• Client is notified of any discrepancies and /or damage. If a discrepancy is found, the entire shipment is verified per client approval.
• Shipment is recorded, receiving ticket is generated and supplied with billing invoice.
• Materials are assigned to storage bin locations and placed into inventory.
• Material bin locations and quantity are entered into the tracking system and inventory is updated.
• Receiving process is completed with 48 hours of receipt of materials.
